Storekeeper
Job Description
- Monitor and manage stock levels of raw metals, machinery parts, components, and hardware.
- Inspect incoming raw materials and specialised parts for quality, thickness, and quantity against blueprints or purchase orders.
- Safely operate a forklift to unload, transport, and stack heavy metal sheets, bar stocks, and machinery sub-assemblies.
- Issue the correct raw materials, tools, and components to the fabrication and assembly floors promptly to avoid production downtime.
- Drive the company vehicle to deliver finished machinery components or pick up urgent fabrication supplies from local vendors.
- Maintain precise digital records of all stock movements while strictly adhering to industrial and metalworking safety protocols.
Job Requirements
- Valid Singapore Class 3 Driver's License and a certified WSQ Forklift Driver's License.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a storekeeper specifically within a manufacturing, metalworking, or engineering environment.
- Familiarity with identifying different metal types, grades, fasteners, and industrial machinery components is preferred.
- Physically fit to handle heavy metal items, manually load/unload goods, and work in a typical production plant environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- High precision in counting, strong safety-first mindset, and the ability to interpret basic technical packing lists.
