Storeman / Yard Personnel
Job Responsibilities:
- Stationed full-time at store/yard and responsible for supporting daily operational activities
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming deliveries
- Track and manage day-to-day delivery schedules, including receiving and issuing Delivery Order (DO) documents
- Manage inventory and assist in monthly and annual physical stock-taking exercises
- Assist in RFID tagging of steel materials
- Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping of the store/yard
- Ensure proper filing of stock in/out documentation and perform data entry
- Clean, repair, and restore used materials to a reusable condition
- Able to support operational requirements and work schedules in accordance with construction project timelines
- Report to Senior Operations Executive and Operations Manager
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply. Training will be provided
- Experience in construction stores, warehouse, or logistics operations will be an advantage
- Possession of a valid Forklift Licence and/or Welding Certification will be an advantage
- Minimum GCE N-Level or O-Level qualification
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) for inventory updates
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining work quality
- Able to work independently and as a good team player with initiative and minimal supervision
- Willing to work overtime when required, including during night shipments (up to 10:00 PM)
- Willing to work at the company's Tuas worksite
- Able to communicate in basic English for day-to-day operational needs. Ability to communicate in Mandarin will be an advantage as the role may involve liaising with Mandarin-speaking suppliers, drivers, and operational personnel
- Candidates who can start work within a short notice period will have an added advantage
Others:
- 5.5 days work week, 9am to 6pm
- Overtime payment is given when been tasked
- AWS upon confirmation and pro-rated if service is less than a year.
- Performance Bonus subjected to individual and company’s performance.
