Reporting to the Strategic Asset Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating strata, commercial leasing, insurance and facilities functions, ensuring compliance, minimising risk and supporting quality outcomes for tenants and frontline teams.

This is a diverse and hands-on role where you will act as the central point of coordination for strata schemes, commercial leases, insurance matters and facilities management activities across the portfolio. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will ensure property obligations are met, risks are managed proactively and operational issues are resolved efficiently.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Coordinate strata and body corporate matters across the housing portfolio.
  • Manage commercial lease and sublease administration, including renewals, compliance and critical dates.
  • Support property insurance claims and maintain accurate insurance records.
  • Coordinate facilities management activities and contractor engagement.
  • Maintain property, lease, strata and insurance registers and documentation.
  • Monitor compliance obligations and identify emerging risks.
  • Support governance, reporting, audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide practical advice and support to regional and operational teams.

Requirements for success

  • Qualifications in Property, Strata Management, Facilities Management or related disciplines
  • Property Services, Strata Management or Real Estate Certificate desirable
  • Experience in strata, property, facilities or asset management.
  • Experience administering commercial leases and maintaining compliance documentation.
  • Experience coordinating insurance claims and working with insurers or brokers.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and resolve issues effectively.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Experience maintaining accurate records, registers and reporting systems.
  • Knowledge of property, strata, facilities or community housing environments will be highly regarded.
