Strategic Account Executive

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Strategic Account Executive based in the United States.

This is a high-impact, hunter-focused sales role centered on driving new business within the mid-market ERP ecosystem. You will own the full sales cycle, engaging finance and operations leaders who are seeking better ways to connect ERP data with Excel-based reporting workflows. The role is highly consultative, requiring a strong understanding of finance pain points and the ability to translate technical value into clear business outcomes. You will operate in a fast-paced, remote-first environment where autonomy, ownership, and disciplined pipeline execution are essential. Success in this role means consistently opening new opportunities, building trust with senior stakeholders, and closing complex SaaS deals. It is an opportunity to directly influence growth in a rapidly expanding global customer base.

Accountabilities:

  • Own and drive a full mid-market sales pipeline ($20K–$100K ACV), from outbound prospecting through to close.
  • Conduct discovery calls, product demonstrations, and business case development with Finance, Accounting, and IT stakeholders.
  • Lead consultative sales conversations with CFOs, Controllers, and Finance leaders to uncover pain points and position value.
  • Build and maintain strong knowledge of ERP environments such as Microsoft Business Central and Sage Intacct to tailor solutions effectively.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineers on proofs of concept, technical evaluations, and complex deal cycles.
  • Manage accurate forecasting and maintain high-quality CRM hygiene to ensure pipeline visibility and performance tracking.
  • Contribute market insights and customer feedback to inform product, marketing, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Requirements:

    • 3+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience with a proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding quota.
    • Experience selling to finance and accounting stakeholders, including CFOs, Controllers, and Finance Directors.
    • Familiarity with ERP ecosystems such as Microsoft Business Central and/or Sage Intacct.
    • Strong consultative selling and discovery skills, with the ability to build compelling, value-driven business cases.
    • Ability to balance self-driven outbound prospecting with managing inbound leads effectively.
    • Nice to have: experience with channel/VAR partner motions, fintech or ERP-focused SaaS companies, and CRM tools such as HubSpot.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive base salary with uncapped commission potential.
      • Remote-first work environment with high autonomy and flexibility.
      • Opportunity to sell a high-retention, market-proven product with strong product-market fit.
      • Fast-paced, high-growth environment where individual impact directly influences company success.
      • Exposure to leading ERP ecosystems and strategic enterprise finance stakeholders.
      • Collaborative, trust-based culture focused on ownership and execution.
