Strategic Alliance Manager, Google Cloud (English, Arabic)

The AFA Alliance Manager is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the end-to-end governance and operational excellence of the Alliance Framework Agreement (AFA). You will serve as the primary bridge between internal cross-functional teams, including Legal, Accounting, DPO, and Tax, and external executive stakeholders.

You will blend contract management with strategic advisory, ensuring that both Google Cloud and the customer realize the full value of the partnership. By orchestrating complex internal responses and advising CXO/Excom stakeholders on strategic priorities, you will ensure contractual compliance while driving long-term alliance health.

  • Manage agreement amendments, entity updates, and system implementations. Manage financial administration, including billing modifications and tracking in-country days for tax compliance.
  • Act as the primary CXO contact for AFA queries and alliance operations. Orchestrate cross-functional responses and manage dispute resolution, including JSC escalations.
  • Lead quarterly governance meetings to monitor service consumption and policy changes. Track commit attainment, monitor incentive usage, and facilitate cloud credit allocations.
  • Align bi-weekly with Excom on strategic, project, and budget priorities. Deliver reporting, support tax discussions, and drive cross-brand synergies.
  • Support core and non-core agreements. Manage operational initiatives, including ad-hoc requests, delivery boards, and partner or PSO staffing capacity.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in contract management, alliance management, or professional services within an enterprise environment.
  • Experience engaging with and advising C-suite or VP-level executive stakeholders.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects involving legal, financial, and technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Arabic fluently to work with local clients and partners.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Management, Finance, or a Technical field.
  • Experience with financial commit tracking, revenue acceleration strategies, and cloud consumption models.
  • Deep understanding of the Google Cloud ecosystem and enterprise AI/ML landscape.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to navigate complex corporate cultures and resolve high-stakes disputes.
