Strategic Digital Account Manager

In this role, you will act as a trusted strategic advisor to senior client stakeholders, ensuring organic growth initiatives are clearly understood, aligned with business objectives, and translated into meaningful outcomes. You will work closely with SEO strategists and delivery teams to connect performance insights with client strategy and growth opportunities. This is not an execution-focused role, but a high-impact account management position where communication, trust-building, and commercial thinking are key. You will help clients navigate complex growth challenges while ensuring delivery teams remain aligned and effective. The environment is remote-first, autonomous, and built on ownership, speed, and continuous learning.
Accountabilities
- Serve as the main strategic point of contact for SaaS and tech clients, building strong relationships with senior stakeholders including Heads of Marketing, VPs, and C-level executives.
- Lead client communications and meetings using a consultative approach, ensuring clarity, alignment, and confidence in delivery and strategy.
- Translate SEO and organic growth strategies into clear business narratives linked to client KPIs, revenue goals, and long-term objectives.
- Collaborate with SEO strategists and delivery teams to ensure priorities, timelines, and outcomes are aligned across all workstreams.
- Identify account growth opportunities, including upsells, scope adjustments, and strategic expansions based on client needs.
- Review deliverables before client presentation, ensuring context, clarity, and strategic relevance.
- Monitor performance trends with support from internal teams and surface actionable insights for clients.
- Maintain strong operational organization across accounts, including documentation, scope tracking, and coordination of key workflows.
- 3–5 years of experience in account management, digital marketing, consulting, or other client-facing strategic roles.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust, manage expectations, and influence senior stakeholders.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to connect marketing activity to business outcomes and revenue impact.
- Good understanding of digital marketing concepts (SEO knowledge is a plus but not required).
- Ability to interpret performance data at a high level and translate insights into strategic recommendations.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment with cross-functional teams.
- High emotional intelligence, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to client management.
- Ability to quickly learn tools such as ClickUp, Slack, Google Workspace, and analytics platforms.
