Strategic Partner Development Manager, Private Equity, Google Cloud
As the Strategic Partner Development Manager, Private Equity, you will drive the recruitment strategy of new partners into the portfolio and accelerate their adoption of Google Cloud services. You will work across Google Cloud’s Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and customer-facing organizations to foster executive alignment with these partners, develop a co-innovation plan for new solutions and orchestrate the co-sell motion between Google Cloud and the partners’ sales organizations.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. - Identify and approach leading global Private Equity (PE) firms to establish programmatic, platform-wide AI transformation blueprints that scale value creation across their entire portfolio company ecosystem.
- Define and operationalize resource allocation models that combine the scale of Google-accredited GenAI (GE) partners with the technical specialized expertise of Google's internal Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) teams, ensuring they are deployed effectively to maximize PortCo AI maturity and Return on Investment (ROI).
- Structure, discuss, and execute end-to-end partnership agreements and unconventional commercial frameworks that align incentives across the PE firm, its PortCos (Portfolio Companies), the GE partners, and Google Cloud to accelerate multi-year platform adoption and business growth.
- Act as the primary advisor to PE Managing Directors, Operating Partners, and PortCo CxOs, presenting GenAI implementation proposals, conducting business discovery, and cementing Google Cloud as their trusted transformation partner.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience in partner management, business development, sales, or channel development in the technology industry.
- Experience in public cloud solutions across SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience managing and growing technology partnership relationships with cross-functional teams internally and externally.
- Experience interfacing with, and being a trusted partner for, C-level executives in partner companies.
- Experience launching partner products and solutions, including complex channel go-to-market motions such as multi-partner solutions, procurement through cloud marketplaces, and consumption-based solutions; experience planning and managing at operational levels.
- Strong conceptual understanding of the GenAI stack, cloud infrastructure constraints, and how embedded engineering models (like FDE) unlock business transformation.
