An opportunity has become available in London for a maternity leave cover role supporting our strategic resource management (75%) and temporary service provider (25%) functions.
The Strategic Resource Management (SRM) function supports the delivery of effective, timely staffing solutions across client engagements, practices, and geographies. The role focuses on execution, coordination, and insight generation, working closely with all Resource Managers and senior stakeholders, to ensure consultants are deployed efficiently and in line with business priorities.
This role plays a key part in enabling a data-driven, structured resource management process, while building strong foundational experience in workforce planning, systems, and stakeholder engagement within a fast-paced professional services environment.
The Temporary service provider (TSP) function supports the end to end lifecycle administration of our third party provider, and includes contractor onboarding and offboarding, contract management, compliance, vendor relations, background screening and payment.

This role will support Resourcing for our Turnaround & Restructuring Services team in the UK, as well as the EMEA TSP office
Client Services Business Area
The UK Turnaround and Restructuring Services (TRS) team supports clients facing financial or operational distress, working closely with lenders, boards, and stakeholders to deliver rapid stabilisation, performance improvement, and restructuring outcomes. The team operates in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment with frequently changing priorities and deadlines, requiring agile and responsive staffing support. The Resource Management role will play a critical part in aligning consultant capacity to live engagements, balancing utilisation with skill fit, and enabling the team to respond quickly to new opportunities while maintaining delivery quality.
Key Responsibilities
Staffing Execution & Coordination
- Support the day-to-day staffing process by coordinating resource requests, availability, and assignments across teams and engagements.
- Assist in matching consultants to roles based on skills, availability, development goals, and engagement needs.
- Track staffing changes, roll-offs, and upcoming needs to ensure continuity and minimise resourcing gaps.
Capacity & Workforce Insight
- Maintain accurate availability and engagement data across staffing system (Saviom).
- Support the preparation of utilisation, capacity, and availability insights for the Resource Management Director and leadership.
- Help identify short-term resourcing pressures or mismatches and escalate appropriately with context and data.
Stakeholder Support
- Act as a key point of contact for routine queries.
- Prepare for staffing discussions with PMDs and Practice leaders.
- Communicate staffing decisions clearly and professionally, ensuring expectations are aligned and documented.
Systems, Data & Process Discipline
- Ensure timely and accurate updates across resource management and temporary service provider systems, supporting data quality and adoption.
- Assist in testing, rollout, and adoption of new staffing tools, processes, or enhancements (e.g. Open needs, StaffLink, etc.).
- Follow established governance, escalation, and prioritisation frameworks
Continuous Improvement & Team Contribution
- Identify process inefficiencies, data gaps, or recurring issues and suggest practical improvements.
- Support standardisation of ways of working across teams and regions.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and documentation.

Background and qualifications
- Consulting/professional services background is
- Strong analysis and presentation capabilities, with excellent working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Actively identifies and implements AI‑enabled improvements to reporting and workflow processes to reduce manual effort and improve turnaround times.
- Degree qualified or equivalent experience.
- Experience using resource management planning software is preferred.
- Fluency in English is required; additional European languages are a plus.
