This role is accountable for developing and accelerating strategic partnerships with large hospital groups and healthcare networks across SEA, positioning DePuy Synthes as a trusted, longterm value partner.

Operating at cluster level with strong incountry customer engagement, the role integrates enterprise account strategy, cross-functional orchestration, and local execution to drive sustainable growth, portfolio adoption, and differentiated customer value.

Responsibilities

  • Shape and deliver SEA corporate and key account strategy for prioritized hospital groups and integrated delivery networks, aligned to DePuy Synthes priorities.

  • Serve as partner to key customers, engaging Csuite, procurement, and clinical leadership to co-create long-term, value-based partnerships beyond products.

  • Translate enterprise strategies into incountry execution, partnering closely with Country Commercial Leaders, Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Pricing, and Finance teams.

  • Drive solution-oriented and portfolio-based value propositions, including standardization, clinical education, capability building, and pathway optimization.

  • Lead complex negotiations and framework agreements in line with pricing, compliance, and contracting governance.

  • Establish account governance and performance discipline, tracking strategic milestones, growth outcomes, and partnership effectiveness across markets.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.

  • 8+ years of experience in MedTech, Life Sciences, or Healthcare, with demonstrated progression in:

  • Key / strategic account management, enterprise sales, or commercial strategy

  • Engagement with large hospital groups or complex healthcare customers

  • Experience within Orthopedics, procedural MedTech, or capital-intensive portfolios strongly preferred.

  • Exposure to regional or multi-market roles within SEA or equivalent emerging markets.

  • Enterprise & strategic thinking – links customer strategy to broader business outcomes

  • Strong external orientation – deep understanding of healthcare systems, customer priorities, and market dynamics

  • Influence without authority – effective operator in matrixed, cross-functional environments

  • Commercial and financial acumen – understands pricing, value, and sustainable growth

  • Travel: Up to 30%, across the SEA region

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.
