Student - Abele Scholar Student Director

The Student Director serves as the primary student leader of the scholarship program, working
closely with program staff to guide initiatives, support student engagement, and ensure a
cohesive and impactful experience for all participants. This role provides strategic direction,
oversees student leaders, and plays a central role in communication, programming, and
community-building.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and take full responsibility for planning, organizing, and facilitating All-Abele
    meetings
  • Lead monthly Cohort Leader meetings with Abele Staff Director to align on goals, share
    updates, and support leadership development
  • Coordinate and support outreach efforts to both current students and program alumni
  • Strengthen connections within the alumni community by fostering relationships
  • Assist with planning and executing events, workshops, and key program initiatives
  • Gather and incorporate student feedback to improve program quality and engagement
  • Act as the primary liaison between students and program staff
