We have opportunities in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland and Ōtautahi Christchurch for students currently studying Geology who want to learn, grow, and explore a career in consultancy. Bring your ideas to life in our Transport team, helping deliver major infrastructure projects through geological investigations, ground modelling, and an understanding of the natural environments that shape engineering outcomes. Your summer could look like this
Support geological investigations and fieldwork on infrastructure projects
Contribute to geological mapping, ground model development, and interpretation of subsurface conditions
Work alongside engineers, geologists, and project teams to help inform infrastructure design and delivery

What you’ll bring
Currently studying a Bachelor or Master of Science majoring in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline
An interest in understanding transport infrastructure and how geological conditions influence infrastructure projects
A current license to be able drive in New Zealand
Available for 12 weeks full-time work from mid-November 2026 to February 2027 (with a two-week break over Christmas and New Year)
Curiosity, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset
