We're looking for students currently studying Geotechnical Engineering who want to learn, grow and explore a career in consultancy. We have opportunities available across Aotearoa New Zealand in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, Tauranga, Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington, and Ōtautahi Christchurch. Within our Transport team, you'll contribute to projects that help shape resilient transport infrastructure and connected communities. Your summer could look like this
Work on real transport infrastructure projects and solve geotechnical engineering challenges

What you’ll bring
Currently studying Geotechnical Engineering, or Civil Engineering with a geotechnical focus, or a related discipline, and ideally in your second-to-last year of study
A current license to be able drive in New Zealand
An interest in transport infrastructure and understanding how ground conditions influence engineering outcomes
Available for 12 weeks full-time work from mid-November 2026 to February 2027 (with a two-week break over Christmas and New Year)
Curiosity, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset
