Student Support – Corporate Tax Team 40-80%
Job Description
Our corporate tax team is looking for a hands-on and diligent working student, focusing on administrative coordination, documentation, and assisting ongoing compliance processes.
This student position is designed to be a full-time role during the semester breaks and offers flexibility during studies with approximately 2-3 working days per week. This is a great opportunity for students who are able to commit to this role for a minimum of 18 months, ideally for several years during their studies.
The successful student will support with the following tasks:
- Support the team in administrative and compliance-related tasks in connection with Pillar II compliance (e.g. data collection, maintaining documentation, analysis);
- Assist with Swiss tax topics, including stamp duty and withholding tax (research, calculations, preparation of supporting materials);
- Conduct tax research on international and Swiss tax matters;
- Support the corporate tax compliance and reporting processes;
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (accounting, finance, legal) and assist in managing external advisors;
- Carry out general administrative tasks, such as maintaining databases, updating files, and ensuring documentation is complete and up to date.
Requirements
- Ongoing Bachelor’s or beginning of Master’s degree in Law, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (focus on taxation or tax accounting is a plus);
- Interest in tax matters, in particular international and Swiss tax topics;
- First practical experience (internship / working student) in tax or finance is an advantage;
- Structured and detail-oriented working style, with a willingness to support routine and administrative processes;
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
- Very good English skills; German is a plus;
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
