Student Support Manager

We are a reputable private education institution in Singapore offering GCE O-Level and A-Level programmes. To support our growing student body, we are seeking a dedicated and responsible Student Support Manager to oversee student wellbeing, discipline, and engagement, ensuring a positive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Student Management

  • Oversee student attendance, discipline, and overall wellbeing.
  • Provide pastoral care and guidance to support students’ personal and emotional development.
  • Identify at-risk students and implement appropriate intervention strategies.
  • Guide students in adapting to school life in Singapore and developing positive learning habits.

Parent & Stakeholder Communication

  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding students’ progress, attendance, and behaviour.
  • Address and resolve student-related concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of student cases, communications, and follow-ups.

Student Engagement & Development

  • Plan and implement student development programmes, workshops, and activities.
  • Promote a positive school culture and encourage student participation in school initiatives.
  • Support orientation programmes for new students, especially international students.

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work closely with academic staff, counsellors, and management to support students’ holistic development.
  • Coordinate with teaching teams to monitor academic progress and student behaviour.
  • Assist in developing and reviewing student management policies and procedures.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Maintain proper documentation of student attendance, disciplinary records, and case management.
  • Prepare reports on student performance, attendance trends, and behavioural issues.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and regulatory requirements.


Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in student management or education settings.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage students and parents effectively.
  • Mature, responsible and able to handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience working with international students is an advantage.
