Stump Crew Groundsman

As a Tree Care Stump Grinder Groundsman at Moon Valley Nurseries, you will be responsible for providing essential support to our tree care operations, specializing in stump grinding. You will assist with tree maintenance, removal, and stump grinding, ensuring a safe, efficient, and clean work environment. This role involves working with heavy machinery, practicing safety protocols, and maintaining a clean and organized job site. Ideal candidates are safety-conscious, physically fit, and have a passion for horticulture and landscape care.

• Operate stump grinding machinery to remove stumps safely and effectively.
• Support tree care operations by assisting climbers and arborists in ground operations.
• Clear and dispose of debris, including branches, leaves, and wood chips, ensuring the work area is clean and organized.
• Inspect and maintain equipment, reporting any malfunctions or damage to supervisors.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure work environment for the team and clients.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to understand job requirements and address any concerns.
