Subsidiary Controller

We are seeking a Subsidiary Controller to help build the company’s global financial infrastructure from the ground up.

This is a hands-on role that combines professional leadership, day-to-day execution, and close partnership with senior management.

Responsibilities

  • Full responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings in accordance with US GAAP

  • Prepare and maintain management reports (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet, forecasts)

  • Manage ongoing work with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions

  • Oversee cash flow management, including budget vs. actual monitoring

  • Provide financial and strategic support to the management team in decision-making

  • Establish and implement internal controls and financial processes

  • Oversee payroll, vendors, customers, bank reconciliations, and credit card reconciliations (as needed, together with bookkeeping)

  • Prepare materials for the board and investors, including financial reports and analyses

  • Support fundraising processes, grants, and loans as needed

Requirements

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – must

  • 2-3 years of experience as a Controller in a company and/or at an accounting firm (Big 4) – must

  • Previous experience in a tech/startup environment - must

  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Israeli tax regulations (or relevant local tax laws)

  • High proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., Priority, NetSuite)

  • High level of English – spoken and written

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong business orientation

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to highlight issues, propose solutions, and work closely with management and investors
