Summer Internship
Job Purpose
Cloud Carib is seeking a motivated and technology-driven Summer Intern to join our Command & Control Centre (C3). This internship provides students and recent graduates with hands-on exposure to a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment, working alongside Systems Engineers and technical support professionals.
The Summer Intern will assist with service desk operations, monitoring activities, documentation, and administrative support functions while gaining practical experience in IT operations, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, networking, and customer support. This role is designed to provide meaningful learning opportunities and professional development within a fast-paced technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the C3 team with monitoring and managing service requests and incidents.
- Support Systems Engineers with basic troubleshooting, research, and documentation activities.
- Assist with ticket administration, updates, categorization, and record keeping within the ticketing system.
- Monitor system alerts and escalate issues to the appropriate team members as directed.
- Participate in customer support activities under the supervision of senior team members.
- Assist with preparing reports, knowledge base articles, and technical documentation.
- Observe and participate in operational meetings and team discussions.
- Support inventory tracking, asset management, and other operational projects as assigned.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling customer and company information.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the C3 Manager.

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree, diploma, or certification program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in Information Technology.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, networking, and operating systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a team environment.
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and willingness to take initiative.
- Must be authorized to work in The Bahamas.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, or cloud technologies.
- Participation in technology clubs, projects, competitions, or personal technical initiatives.
- Pursuing or interested in industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Fundamentals, or similar.
