Summer Operations Student

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and reliable summer student to support our Operations team in our Kenora location. This hands-on role is ideal for a high school student who enjoys working outdoors and contributing to the upkeep and presentation of facilities, grounds, and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manager of Operations, the Summer Operations Student will assist with a variety of tasks, including:

• Grass cutting and general grounds maintenance
• Watering flowers and maintaining outdoor spaces
• Cleaning windows and assisting with facility upkeep
• Vehicle detailing and basic cleaning
• Supporting general maintenance and organization tasks
• Performing other duties and odd jobs as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

To be eligible for this position, applicants must:

• Be a high school student
• Be between the ages of 14-18 at the time of application
• Be a Treaty #3 member eligible under the Shooniyaa Wa-Biitong ISET Agreement
• Be physically able to perform manual tasks and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Demonstrate reliability, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn
• Be able to follow directions and work both independently and as part of a team
