This position is for a Summer Instructor/Teacher in one of our Chadwick Summer Programs.

Arts Unlimited, Camp, Hilltop Sports, Minis, Prep, Prep+

Details of each program are available in the online brochure. Please indicate on your application or cover letter the program you would prefer to work in as an instructor/teacher.

There are openings for classes based on the summer program brochure including the following:

Art, STEM, and general numeracy, science and literacy classes

Please state first choice and second choice.

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for providing high quality teaching and instruction to participating students in the Chadwick Summer Program.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Work Saturday, June 20, 2026, through Friday, July 24, 2026 - Program not in session on the following date in observance of the July 4th holiday - July 3, 2026.
Attend a staff “onboarding” session the week beginning Monday, June 16th (on-boarding sessions are 2 hours in length)
Complete in person CPR training in the week of June 15, 2026
Attend a mandatory staff training day on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 9:00am – 3:00pm
Work either a half or a full day during the Summer program hours which begin at 9:00 am and end at 3:00 pm.
Plan interesting and exciting activities that are sequential and have set outcomes that are achievable for all students during the length of the Summer Program.
Work collaboratively with other members of the Summer Program, including Counselors.
Must maintain safe work practices and follow all safety and security procedures.
Must enjoy working with children aged 4 – 14.
Attend after-hours events, shows and performances, as required and determined by the class taught.
Perform other duties as assigned
