About Mira Mace

Mira Mace pairs Medicare beneficiaries with a dedicated healthcare advocate who navigates appointments, insurance, and care coordination on their behalf. Our customers get the support of caring nurses while AI agents handle the tedious backend work — all covered by Medicare.

We've felt the pain ourselves — the endless back-and-forth with insurance, surprise bills, and the lack of clarity when you just need answers. Too many people fall through the cracks, and we're determined to change that.

Today, 24/7 personalized health assistance is only available to the rich or the extremely sick. Our vision is for everyone to be able to afford a health assistant who knows their health history deeply, navigates the healthcare system on their behalf, and propels them toward becoming the healthiest version of themselves.

Our founding team brings strong technical experience from companies like Microsoft, Google, Meta, and Amazon, along with serial startup experience ranging from early bootstrapped ventures to Series D scale-ups. We're backed by Foundation Capital, Define Ventures, and top Silicon Valley angel investors.

About the Role

You will be the first clinical experience many of our patients have with Mira Mace. In this role, you'll take patients through a visit over video, working from the up-to-date medical records we provide, and set the tone for everything that follows in their care journey.

You won't be doing this alone. Our care advocates carry the day-to-day work of addressing patients' health and social needs. Each month, you'll review their care plans and logged hours, providing the clinical oversight that ensures every patient's health and social situation is genuinely improving over time.

This is a part-time, fully remote role with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the first clinical touchpoint for our patients, conducting visits over video using the up-to-date medical records we provide.

  • Build trust quickly with an elderly, Medicare population — patience and gentleness are non-negotiable.

  • Review care plans and logged hours from our care advocates on a monthly basis, ensuring the care being delivered is moving patients' health and social circumstances in the right direction.

  • Provide clinical judgment and oversight that keeps the care continuum coherent, safe, and effective.

What You Bring to the Table

  • MD or DO only.

  • Active, unrestricted licenses in at least: California, Florida, Texas, New Jersey, New York, and Arizona. Additional state licenses are a strong plus.

  • A clean record — no past disciplinary or reprimand actions taken against your license.

  • Patience and empathy. Our patients are older and often vulnerable. Listening, gentleness, and a calm presence are the foundation of every visit.

  • A reliable remote setup. Visits happen over video, so strong internet connectivity and a quiet, professional work environment are essential.

  • Technical fluency. You can pick up new systems and tools quickly and work comfortably within them.

  • Bias toward action. You care about building the care model that gets patients better outcomes, and you're not shy about sharing feedback to make it stronger.

Applicants must be based in the United States.
