Supervisor

Job Description

Supervsior with experience working with general building construction jobsites and the essential role assisting the project team in ensuring timely and successful completion of construction projects

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and communicate building construction contract documents, drawings, and specifications to work teams
• manage workplan, coordinate, and supervise daily self-perform work activities
• Lead and direct chargehands and work teams to meet production, quality, and schedule goals
• With work progress schedule direct manpower, tools, equipment, and material needs with the Project Manager
• Track daily production and report progress, constraints, and manpower needs
• Enforce company safety policies and OSHA compliance, including daily SOP procedures
• Conduct daily job hazard analyses and toolbox meetings
• Maintain quality control of installed work and address deficiencies
• Interface with other related trades, subcontractors, and field supervision team
• Mentor and develop foremen and craft employees

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of relevant trade experience with supervisory responsibility
• Proven ability to lead crews and manage daily work plans independently
• Strong working knowledge of construction means and methods
• Comprehensive understanding of OSHA regulations and site safety requirements
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schedules, and work plans
• Effective communication and field leadership skills
• Coordinating with mid-level managment team supporting project department
