Pay Range: $62,000 - 88,000
What You’ll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):
Manage and oversee a specific department and team within the production process.
Coordinate the team’s activities to accomplish the established production and safety goals.
Manage and inspect the team’s output to ensure quality and accuracy.
Maintain time and production records.
Teach the team company safety policies and enforce all safety regulations with a goal of zero incidents.
Collaborate with the team and management to identify and implement ways to improve production and safety.
Maintains record of production, scrap, inventory management, down time as well as lot traceability information in Dynamics AX or related software.
Responsible for department reaching goals and development of a well-rounded high functioning team.
Conducts downtime analysis and root cause analysis to adjust problems and drive continuous improvement.
Work with departments surrounding production area to ensure that materials produced meet approved specifications.
Perform as a key member or lead team in 5s and Lean initiatives.
Help to mediate and resolve conflicts within the team.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need (Qualifications):
Demonstrated ability to lead others by having a positive attitude and leading by example.
Applied demonstrated proficiency in data analysis in inventory management systems and Microsoft Suite preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, business, or related field is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience required preferably in a team size of 20+ and in a manufacturing environment.
