The Research & Advanced Engineering Vehicle Integration Supervisor will lead the development, integration, and testing of innovative advanced electrified propulsion systems and technologies for future electrified vehicles.
What you'll do...
Lead vehicle integration team to develop, build, and test next-generation electrified light-duty, medium-duty, and heavy-duty advanced electrified vehicles.
Lead electrified prototype vehicle and propulsion system builds, vehicle commissioning, development testing, troubleshooting, and repair.
Lead design of HV and LV electrical architecture, power distribution, and vehicle CAN/LIN network communications, voltage compatibility and load analysis, and device transmittals.
Lead testing of new propulsion system technology and vehicles on breadboards, dynamometers, and vehicles
Manage vehicle test fleet, breadboard lab, vehicle service garages, APTL site 20 AWD dyno operations, and material & storage logistics
Lead team through the collection and analysis of vehicle data to evaluate new propulsion system technology
Apply problem solving tools and methods to solve problems related to vehicle build, commissioning, and testing
Apply systems engineering tools and methods for new technology development
You'll have...
B.S. or M.S. in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in design and development of electrified propulsion systems, components, or vehicles
1+ years of experience conducting tests of electrified vehicle components or systems in labs, breadboards, dynamometers, HIL/SIL, or on-road.
Strong understanding of electrified vehicle architecture, systems, and components
Experience successfully leading large cross-functional teams with demonstrated track record of timely, high-quality delivery to program milestones
Experience using engineering problem-solving tools and methods to find and address root cause
Strong and effective leadership, communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Ability to prepare and deliver concise technical project reviews to management

Ph.D. in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, or related field
Experience troubleshooting electrified prototype vehicles or components with diagnostic tools including data collection and analysis and driving issues to resolution.
Experience with electrified vehicle architecture design and testing, HV/LV EDS design, CAN/LIN network topology, electrical wiring schematics, and device transmittals.
Experience using data acquisition systems, data processing and analysis for design, development, and validation of propulsion systems
Demonstrated track record of delivering new technologies to vehicle programs
Familiarity with electrified vehicle controls and calibration strategies

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $115,500-$218,100.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
