The Supervisor of Production should be responsible for overseeing product and/or service operations functions for a company site(s). Lead site efforts to develop and improve operations through efficient and effective integrated processes, implementing common management processes/services to leverage organization resources. Direct operations review of cost and service structures, productivity measures and delivery methods to achieve planned targets. Select, develop and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. This role will be part of Align Technology goal to deliver the next generation of clear aligners (Invisalign®) to our customers. In this role, you will…
  • Lead and Manage area of responsibility with excellence.
  • Be accountable of the operational performance of the RTTs assigned including KPIs.
  • Enable communication with the Sales RM and/or TM/ Clinical Specialist in their region of responsibility to ensure that we are addressing the Customers’ needs, as applicable.
  • Adequate staffing for the region.
  • Ensure adequate balance of the RTT assigned & escalate issue to Production Manager (his/her supervisor).
  • Communicate challenges that can affect the performance of the Region, upstream and downstream in a timely manner.
  • Be advanced in the ability to perform the job.
  • Implement and champion continuous process improvement methodologies and techniques.
  • Improve area of responsibility.
  • Lead the RTT, provide constant communication (1:1), feedback, living and passing the Align Culture to all the members in the RTT.
  • Manage difficult situations in the RTT.
  • Support his/her direct reports in their performance improvement and provide frequent performance reviews.
  • Collaborate in the development plan of the direct reports.
  • Drive frequent meetings with their direct reports with the main purpose of improving communication and identifying gaps in the performance of the team.
  • Support corporate initiatives
  • Propose ideas for procedures and processes, to promote improved service and customer satisfaction, and overall department improvements.
  • Facilitate the learning curve of the new hires.
  • Comply with all safety policies and regulatory requirements, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Typically:
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
  • Less than one year of directly related experience.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • High potential to learn, adapt and manage the company tools to track and improve his own performance as well as the team performance under responsibility.
