Supervisory Clinical Psychologist

About the Position: The incumbent will work under the general supervision of the Chief, Medical Officer. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the Department of Defense to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service .

Provide guidance to the hospital commander regarding policy in Psychology issues.

Participate with other professional staff in providing emergency mental health services.

Provide psychological and clinical consultation to other professionals and paraprofessionals through established consultation channels.

Coordinate with a variety of agencies to assist with the multidisciplinary treatment of patients.

Assign work to accomplish by subordinate supervisors or by subordinates who guide and control work.

Review job descriptions of subordinates for currency and accuracy.
