THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPERVISORY ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SPECIALIST T32, PDD0964000 and is part of the AZ CFMO, National Guard.

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This position is located at the Construction and Facilities Management Office (CFMO) in Phoenix, Arizona. The primary purpose is to serve as the State ARNG Environmental Program Manager with responsibility for supervising and managing the state environmental program in conformance with Federal, state, and local rules and regulations. Serves as the focal point and technical expert to the Adjutant General; and provides advisory services to all units within the state regarding National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Installation Restoration Program (IRP), Air Quality, Water Quality, Hazardous Waste Management and various other environmental programs. Ensures that applicable Federal, state, and local environmental standards, regulations and laws are maintained. Assures compliance with policies, regulations, and Federal, state, and local statutes. Supervises technician and/or state personnel engaged in a variety of work directly related to the state environmental program.
