SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST

You will serve as a Supervisory Financial Management Analyst for CDR STRIKE FORCE TRNG ATLANTIC.

You will direct and/or perform continuing program execution review, analysis and appraisal of the major operating and support programs within the organization.

You will prepare briefs for senior managers on program execution and provide recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas.

You will provide interpretive and analytical advice on financial transactions and program execution.

You will coordinate the development and reporting of cost/performance information in support of mission tasks for the organization.

You will promulgate approved financial management policies within the organization based on DON policy and develop and issues implementing procedures. Ensure compliance with internal controls.

You will prepare or review responses to review or audit; e.g., FMB, GAO, DODIG etc. which involve financial management policy and procedure.

You will conduct management evaluation of issues of financial consequence raised in audit reports, budget reviews, etc. and recommend alternatives for corrective action.

You will plan work, set priorities and schedule work as necessary to assure effective and expeditious accomplishment of priority work without adverse affect on regular and recurring work. Look to improve production and quality of work.

You will develop performance standards and evaluates employee performance.

You will interview candidates and recommend hiring, promotions, etc.

You will hear and resolve employee complaints, referring serious complaints lacking resolution to higher level supervision.

You will take disciplinary measures such as warnings and reprimands and recommend more serious disciplinary measure to higher supervision. Identifies and arranges for employee developmental and training requirements.
