Supervisory Industrial Engineer

About the Position: Incumbent serves as the Chief, Business Operations/Integration Division, responsible for planning, programming, coordinating, and scheduling resources for the accomplishment of engineering work, manpower, and materials, within the technical guidance and program scope established at the command level.

Develop standards, criteria, and plans for the industrial engineering program throughout the Department of Public Works

Utilize cost analysis techniques to determine methods of accomplishment of engineering projects.

Conduct studies to adopt new methods for the execution of the Organizational mission.

Supervise the activities of administrative, engineering, program analysis and other technical personnel either directly or through subordinate supervisors and team leaders.

Support position and classification reviews to ensure effective position management within the organization.

Evaluate effectiveness of internal and external engineering operations through review and analysis of production reports and inspections.

Analyze impacts of variables such as labor market, costs, transportation, safety requirements, etc. for assigned projects.
