As a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist (InfoSec), at the full performance level, you will perform the following duties: Supervise, both technically and administratively, a group of specialists in the performance of work that involves ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and data through the planning, analysis, development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of information systems security programs, policies, procedures, and tools. Define objectives, interpret policies promulgated by authorities senior to the immediate supervisor and determining their effect on program needs, independently plans, designs, and carries out the work to be done, and is a technical authority for a significant organization or equivalent level IT program or function. Assure reasonable equity of performance standards and rating techniques developed by subordinates or assuring comparable equity in the assessment by subordinates of the adequacy of contractor capabilities or of contractor completed work. Resolve integration issues related to the implementation of new systems with the existing infrastructure. This announcement is to create an inventory of qualified applicants.
