Supervisory Recreation Specialist NF-03

This position is located at Family & Morale, Welfare and Recreation -Recreation Centers. This is a Regular Part Time position (20 hours) with eligibility to participate in the NAF Employee Benefits Plans. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

Supervises a staff of 3-12 employees, assigns and reviews work assignments on a daily, weekly, or longer basis. Plans work schedules, approves or disapproves leave, determines performance objectives and rates performance.

Must be able to support the activity by applying a practical knowledge of recreational activities and skills in the use of recreation materials and facilities.

Works in executing recreation events, programs and services to meet the recreational needs of a diverse patronage, including a variety of multi disciplinary events, i.e., social activities, tournaments and other major programs.

Assists with training new personnel. Assures that proper security measures are taken to safeguard monies, property, equipment and facility. Assists with other recreation programs in the Recreation Center as needed.

Performs other duties as assigned.
