Supplier Quality Professional
- Responsible for ensuring supplier quality performance and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.
- Leads engineering initiatives to optimize production processes, reduce costs, and maintain compliance with industry standards.
- Develops and implements quality systems, conducts supplier audits, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
- Supports new product introduction and process validation while maintaining robust documentation and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Influences supplier selection and qualification for critical components.
- Oversees manufacturing process improvements impacting cost, quality, and delivery.
- Works with suppliers and internal teams to achieve strategic objectives and ensure operational excellence.

Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Provides technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and quality specialists. May lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate supplier improvement initiatives. Interfaces with suppliers, internal engineering, operations, and executive leadership. Maintains strong external partnerships to ensure compliance and performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required; advanced degree preferred.

Minimum 7+ years of experience in supplier quality and manufacturing engineering roles.
- Advanced English
Manufacturing (Key Qualifications / Experience):
- PCBA assembly processes (e.g., SMT, wave soldering, conformal coating)
- Mechanical or top-level assembly processes (e.g., housing assembly, screw fastening, heat sink assembly)
- General understanding of inspection and test systems (AOI, AXI, SPI, ICT, etc.)
- DFM (Design for Manufacturability) experience
- Tooling and fixture design background
- Lean manufacturing principles
Quality (Supplemental Focus):
- Quality control tools: Pareto charts, histograms, control charts, fishbone diagrams, etc.
- Failure analysis methodologies: 8D, FMEA, Why-Why analysis
- Continuous improvement methodologies: PDCA, DMAIC, Six Sigma

Role requires occasional travel to supplier sites and manufacturing facilities.
