Join Maxis as a Supply Chain Business Process Intern and gain hands-on experience in supply chain transformation, business process improvement, and project management within the telecommunications industry. In this role, you will support strategic initiatives focused on optimizing supply chain operations, improving business processes, and driving digital transformation projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Process Improvement: Support the development and implementation of new supply chain business processes by assisting with process mapping, identifying improvement opportunities, and ensuring operational readiness for new initiatives.

  • 3PL Operating Model Support: Assist in the implementation of the new Third-Party Logistics (3PL) operating model by coordinating activities, documenting workflows, and supporting stakeholder alignment throughout the transformation process.

  • SOP Documentation: Prepare, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure business processes are well-documented, standardized, and aligned with operational requirements.

  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by supporting test planning, executing test cases, documenting findings, and working with project teams to validate new system enhancements and process changes.

  • Project Reporting & Dashboard Management: Assist in developing reporting dashboards, tracking project progress, monitoring key performance indicators, and supporting change requests related to supply chain projects and business process enhancements.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications

  • Education: Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Logistics, Project Management, or other related disciplines.

  • Project Management Knowledge: Basic understanding of project management principles with an interest in supporting business transformation and cross-functional initiatives.

  • Supply Chain Knowledge: Foundational knowledge of supply chain operations, logistics, procurement, or business process management is preferred.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Exposure to SAP, reporting tools, or business process mapping tools is an advantage.

  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret data, identify process improvement opportunities, and support operational decision-making.

  • Communication & Collaboration: Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders.

  • Adaptability & Organisation: Highly organised, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic project environment.

Value-Added Project Opportunity

As part of your internship, you will contribute to the 3PL Supply Chain Transformation Project, a strategic initiative focused on modernizing supply chain operations. This project includes supporting SAP system developments, implementing a new Supply Chain Operating Model, and enhancing business processes to improve operational efficiency. You will gain valuable exposure to large-scale transformation projects, process optimization, and cross-functional project execution.
