POSITION PURPOSE
- Enable overall market business by delivering outstanding warehousing and distribution service to all sales channel customers
- Lead and develop the market supply chain team to address business challenges and achieve operational excellence.
- Manage the relationships and performance of logistics and warehouse providers, identify improvement opportunities and govern the execution progress
- Act as close business partner with business and functional teams by providing supply chain solution recommendation
- Collaborate with the supply chain organization and support the local implementation of regional and global initiatives

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Local distribution and fulfillment
- Supervise the order fulfillment process across all sales channels and ensure service level is up to agreed service level
- Provide supply risk guidance for the aid of allocation decision across various sales channel/ stores
- Collaborate with 3PL to ensure all outbound shipment are properly handled and delivered according to pre-defined delivery window
- Work closely with Retail team on orders/ new product availability/ delivery schedules and provide effective communication -for all operating channels including Signature stores, Department stores, Duty Free, and Kakao gift platform
Market supply and inventory management
- Support Demand Planner to ensure demand forecast/ schedule demand of trade items, samples and consumables aligning to market expectation
- Ensure all product lifecycle (phased in phased out) and promotional events being factored into the demand plan/stock strategy
- Work closely with commercial teams to validate replenishment plan for new stores, counters or new accounts, etc
- Partner with regulatory team to understand the implication of regulation, product formula, or any other regulatory change, and escalate for supply solution or risk mitigation plan
- Oversee custom clearance and registration processes of Korea and collaborate with local agency to promptly apply changes in regulations and policies
- Review the DRP proposed replenishment plan and propose adjustment or trigger shipment expedition request based on latest market supply status
- Play a key role with country manager and regional supply chain manager to maximize supply availability without compromising on committed financial budget (inventory, obsolescence, etc)
- Lead the stock take and inventory reconciliation process to ensure accuracy between physical & system records
3PL management
- Provide leadership to appointed 3PL to ensure outstanding warehousing and distribution services supported
- Lead the monthly operation review meeting with 3PL, review warehouse performance against operational KPI and identify room for improvement/ take relevant actions to improve results as necessary
- Liase with 3PL for quotation on ad hoc business need
- Audit all transport and warehouse invoices for management approval
- Track warehouse expenditure against budget.
- Responsible for budgeting the annual logistics expenditure
People management and development
- Provide leadership to local supply chain members and drive talent development
- Develop, train and reinforce guidelines and protocols to the supply chain team
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor degree or higher in one or more of the following: Supply Chain Management, Logistics Planning, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in supply chain and logistics functions of retail, healthcare or FMCG industry
- Able to collaborate and network within matrix and intercultural teams
- Understanding of regulatory requirement for S. Korea market would be an advantage
- Proven track record as a collaborative partner with exceptional customer service, both internally and externally
- Excellent interpersonal & organizational skills
- Strong system/analytical skills and good business acumen
- Experience with NetSuite (or similar ERP) an advantage
- Fluent in English/Korean both in verbal in written
