Supply Chain Specialist
Location: Woolloongabba, Brisbane, Australia
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
About the Role

As a Supply Chain Specialist within our Drug Substance business, you will play an important role in supporting the flow of materials, information, and products across the supply chain to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Working closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, Warehousing, Logistics, and Planning teams, you will help maintain inventory accuracy, support material availability, coordinate supply chain activities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that support the development and manufacture of life-changing therapies.
Key Responsibilities
Support day-to-day supply chain operations across planning, procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and distribution activities.
Maintain and monitor material transactions and inventory data within SAP and other business systems.
Assist with inventory management activities, including stock reconciliation and inventory accuracy initiatives.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to support material availability and timely delivery.
Support domestic and international shipping activities, including documentation and compliance requirements.
Analyze supply chain data and contribute to operational reporting and performance metrics.
Identify and support process improvement opportunities that enhance efficiency, quality, and service levels.
Ensure activities are performed in accordance with company procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Build effective working relationships across multiple business functions to support operational objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience or internship exposure within supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, operations, or warehousing environments.
Experience using SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
Knowledge of inventory management, procurement, logistics, or materials planning processes.
Understanding of regulated manufacturing environments such as pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, food, or chemical industries.
APICS certification or progress toward certification.
Experience working with supply chain performance metrics and reporting.
