**CONTINGENT UPON AWARD**
Position Summary: Supply Department Support personnel provide critical logistics and warehousing support to the LOGSU-1 Supply Department. Supporting the Supply Department Leading Chief Petty Officers (LCPOs), this role manages the receipt, storage, issuance, tracking, and disposal of materiel and specialized equipment. Responsibilities include inventory management across multiple systems, processing customer requests, and lifecycle management of operational gear. This position is essential to maintaining supply readiness and ensuring timely support to Naval Special Warfare forces.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Process and manage initial issue and sustainment of personal gear and Operational Consumables (OPCON)
• Conduct warehouse receiving, stowage, and receipt processing operations
• Manage inventory and transactions using systems such as:
- Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS)
- Relational Supply (R-Supply)
- Special Operations Forces Supply and Activity Visual Information Exchange (SSAVIE) or equivalent systems
• Perform daily reconciliation of issued and received materiel
• Execute breakouts of OPCON material and General Service Requests
• Manage lifecycle of Specialized Equipment (SPEAR) gear, including ordering, issuing, return, and disposal
• Provide customer service support for materiel issuance and equipment tracking
• Process Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO) turn-ins and disposal actions
• Receive, process, and ship materiel across the Naval Special Warfare West Coast enterprise
• Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including forklifts
• Manage gear returns and disposal processing
• Support Ammunition Plant Spare Parts Requirements (APSR) inventory tracking and reporting
Required Skills and Abilities:
• Experience: Warehouse operations, inventory management, or supply chain logistics
• Experience: Government property management and logistics systems
• Experience: Inventory reconciliation and material accountability procedures
• Certification: Valid forklift operator’s license
• Skills: Strong organizational and data accuracy
• Skills: Ability to manage high-volume supply transactions
• Clearance: Secret
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license
• Must be able to operate Government vehicles and material handling equipment
• Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must maintain high attention to detail and accuracy
• Must be capable of working independently with minimal supervision
• Must have knowledge of logistics and inventory systems
• Must be capable of operating within classified environments and systems (Non-classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET) / Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET))
• Must comply with all safety, security, and workplace regulations
• Ability to lift, carry, and move supply items and equipment
• Capability to stand, walk, and perform warehouse duties for extended periods
• Ability to operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely
• Ability to work in warehouse, storage, and industrial environments
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk, listen, and write. The employee frequently is required to use foot/ankle motions, hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
