SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TITLE 32)
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D0883P01 and is part of the IL DOL, National Guard.
As a SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TITLE 32), GS-2003-9/11, you will develop command logistics guidance and support plans for federal and state missions. Major Duties - This is NOT an all-inclusive list: Formulate and implement the comprehensive logistics support plans, policies and logistics operations support, based on logistics data and requirements obtained from the Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ) staff, units, USPFO, NGB and other organizations. Develop, coordinate and implement policies, procedures and requirements for unit deployment, inter-service support agreements as approved by the USPFO, emergency support for civil authorities, training exercises support and environmental compliance. Initiate equipment redistribution guidance. Develop, staff and implement logistics plans for material fielding, mission support and mobilization. Serve as the Information Systems/Automation Security Officer, Physical Security Officer and Safety Officer for the directorate, providing technical oversight throughout the shops and activities of the program. Update Internal Management Control (IMC) Plan projecting 5 years into future for all DCSLOG/G4 branches or activities. Analyze, direct and provide command logistics guidance to support CTA/TDA/MTOE changes and turn-in of command excess equipment to the USPFO. Consolidate all logistics readiness indicators to formulate an assessment of the command logistics readiness of the state.
This is an excepted service position that requires membership in the Illinois National Guard and in the military grade listed in the announcement. This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position. Irregular and/or overtime (compensatory) hours may be required to support operational requirements or contingencies or may be required to work hours outside of the normal duty day. Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
