What You Will Do
As a Supply Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials to support production schedules and customer demand. This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of 2 days per week working from our Letchworth office. Working cross-functionally with suppliers, production, materials planning, and inventory management, you will ensure the right materials are available at the right time to meet operational and inventory targets. You will coordinate inbound material schedules, align supply plans to production requirements, and support continuous improvement in planning processes. This role is critical in maintaining efficiency, minimising disruption, and supporting strong on-time delivery performance while contributing to overall operational excellence.

- Plan and manage material supply to meet production schedules and customer requirements
- Coordinate closely with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to maintain optimal stock and avoid shortages or excess
- Align inbound material schedules with production plans and inventory targets
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and inventory teams to ensure seamless operations
- Support supplier performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify potential supply risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively
- Assist in the production scheduling process where required
- Contribute to improvements in supply planning processes and systems
- At least 2 years in supply planning
- Moderate to advanced Excel skills
- Experience in supply planning, materials planning, or a similar role
- Strong organisational and coordination skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience within a manufacturing or production environment
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems
- Understanding of inventory management principles
