Support Services Associate, Per Diem
Atlantic Health is seeking a Support Services Associate to provide staffing for the hospitality and support services departments at Atlantic Health Newton Medical Center. These areas and functions include, but are not limited to:
- Food Services Transport
- General Housekeeper
- Patient Transport
Food Services Transport
- Deliver/Serve patient meals
- Responsible for sanitation and regulatory compliance
General Housekeeper
- General cleaning, empty trash, high/low dusting, mop floors, sanitize all furniture in patient rooms, clean commode, clean bathrooms and discard debris, remove soiled linen and replace with fresh linen in patient rooms
Patient Transport
- Assists patient in walking to prevent accidents by falling, or transports non-ambulatory patient, using wheelchair
- Guides or escorts incoming patients to designated area
Other
- Duties as assigned/needed
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- If 16- or 17-years old valid working papers required
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
