Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the timely and accurate entry and processing of all types of gifts (online, checks, stock, wire transfers, etc.) into the donor database, adhering to established accounting and audit best practices.

  • Manage the donor acknowledgment process, including generating personalized thank-you letters and ensuring tax receipts are delivered promptly and correctly.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for donor inquiries via phone and email, providing courteous and accurate information regarding donations, tax receipts, and general organizational questions.

  • Support the creation of specialized giving pages for institutional partnerships and key relationships.

  • Provide logistical support for fundraising events and campaigns, which may include managing mail merges, tracking RSVPs, assembling materials, and coordinating vendor needs.

  • Work with the Director of Supporter Experience and the office of Strategy and Innovation to collect impact measurements and narratives to share with our donors.

  • Maintain high-quality donor records through ongoing clean-up, updates, and deduplication efforts within the CRM.

  • Support the creation of dossiers and donor profiles for the advancement team, the executive team and the board.

  • Handle sensitive and confidential matters/ data with the utmost discretion and integrity

  • Work, communicate, and collaborate effectively with others

  • Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in all work

  • Demonstrate a commitment to fostering and maintaining an environment of belonging

  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in:

  • Gift entry and donor record management using a CRM/donor database (e.g., Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge, Blackbaud products).

  • Providing customer service in a professional, high-volume environment (phone and email).

  • Administrative tasks using G Suite or Microsoft Office, including mail merge functions.

  • Demonstrate successful planning and problem-solving skills, including multitasking and working well within tight timelines

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
