As a Sustainable Investing Research Analyst (Data & Analytics), you will work closely with global research and technology teams to generate actionable insights from complex datasets. You will play a key role in building scalable data workflows, strengthening data quality controls, and delivering high-impact analytics that support investment decision-making.

Job Responsibilities

  • Generate data-driven insights from large datasets to support sustainable investing research
  • Build analytical workflows using Python and SQL to explore data, design features, and validate findings
  • Translate complex analysis into clear, decision-ready narratives and presentations
  • Develop visualizations to explain trends, drivers, and data quality considerations
  • Perform robust validation including benchmarking, sensitivity analysis, and reconciliation checks
  • Investigate and resolve data issues through root cause analysis and remediation validation
  • Design and implement data controls to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of key metrics
  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines to source, transform, and reconcile datasets
  • Partner with data and technology teams to troubleshoot pipeline issues and deliver enhancements
  • Support implementation of changes across internal platforms with clear testing and validation
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of data processes, controls, and analytics capabilities

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Experience using Python or R for data analysis and automation with strong coding discipline
  • Strong SQL skills, including experience working with large datasets and complex queries
  • Experience working with large-scale data platforms such as Snowflake or similar environments
  • Proven ability to translate business questions into data-driven analysis and actionable insights
  • Strong analytical thinking with attention to detail and data integrity
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly through written and verbal communication
  • Experience delivering work in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines
  • Ability to validate data rigorously and ensure accuracy of outputs

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Interest in sustainability and responsible investing themes
  • Experience working with sustainability or ESG-related datasets
  • Exposure to collaboration with data, platform, or technology teams
  • Familiarity with statistical or machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn or statsmodels
  • Advanced degree in a quantitative or technical field
