What You’ll Do

  • Direct and escort students across busy streets, stopping traffic as necessary
  • Utilize appropriate equipment to safely complete job responsibilities (safety vest, stop sign, etc.)
  • Kindly and effectively communicate traffic and crossing rules to students and adults
  • Report unsafe behavior of children to the Transportation Manager in a timely manner
  • Assist and monitor the safety and behavioral expectations of students while crossing the street
  • Fill in for bus monitors as needed
  • Completed required training as necessary and assigned by supervisor
  • Other related duties as assigned

Compensation & Schedule

  • Hourly/Non-Exempt
  • $17.50 - $20.55 per hour (DOE)
  • Part-Time; 10-15 hours per week
    • Monday – Friday
    • 6:45 to 8:30 AM & 2:45 to 4:30 PM
      • Both shifts are required

    • Please note hourly positions are not annualized at Atlas and compensation is based upon actual hours worked.
