System Administrator (Linux) - (up to $7,000base + up to 2 month contract Bonus)

• Training in HPC will be given

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of Linux servers, from provisioning and configuration to patching and decommissioning
• Maintain system baselines, golden images, and configuration consistency across the server fleet
• Operate enterprise rack servers running RHEL across compute and management functions
• Apply security patches and hardening in line with approved standards
• Support virtualisation platforms where required
• Run daily health checks, resolve incidents, and verify fixes after implementation
• Back up and restore system configurations, and keep runbooks and records current
• Execute approved changes within defined maintenance windows

Requirements

• At least 3 years in a Linux systems administration role
• Strong hands-on Linux administration is essential (RHEL, Rocky, or CentOS in production). This role is tested on practical depth, not certification alone.
• RHCSA and ITIL Foundation, or willingness to obtain them (certification fully sponsored by the employer)
• A strong willingness to learn, since full vendor training is provided
