You will lead system performance, network stability, cybersecurity practices, and user support — balancing day-to-day support with longer-term system improvements and strategic IT initiatives.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Systems Administration

  • Administering and maintaining servers, endpoints, networks, and cloud-based services to ensure system reliability and production uptime
  • Implementing system monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery processes in alignment with ISO 9001 operational control and risk-based thinking

  • Partnering with external partners, operations, engineering, and quality teams to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Planning and executing system changes in coordination with production schedules
  • Developing, maintaining, and enforcing IT policies, procedures, and work instructions
  • Ensuring change management practices are followed for system updates and infrastructure changes
  • Maintaining asset inventories, access logs, and system documentation to support traceability and audit readiness
  • Establishing escalation paths and incident response procedures

Cybersecurity & CMMC 2.0 Compliance

  • Coordinating implementation and maintaining security controls aligned with CMMC 2.0 Level 1 / Level 2 requirements, including access control, identification and authentication, system patching, vulnerability remediation, endpoint protection, and incident detection and response
  • Maintaining documentation, system inventories, and evidence required for cybersecurity assessments
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure secure handling of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) where applicable

Continuous Improvement & Risk Management

  • Using data, incident trends, and audit findings to drive improvements in system reliability and security
  • Evaluating emerging risks and recommending mitigation strategies
  • Supporting business continuity and disaster recovery planning
