System Control Engineer
Job Description:
- Assist in the design and development of vessel electrical and automation systems.
- Prepare, interpret, and update electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Support PLC programming, configuration of VFDs, motor controllers, and motion control systems.
- Work with breakers, contactors, and control panels to support system integration.
- Participate in factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), and vessel commissioning.
- Troubleshoot system issues under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Ensure designs comply with class, safety, and quality standards.
- Ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in industrial automation or control engineering.
- Basic experience with PLC programming and electrical troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with marine systems is an advantage.
