System Control Engineer

Job Description:

  • Assist in the design and development of vessel electrical and automation systems.
  • Prepare, interpret, and update electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Support PLC programming, configuration of VFDs, motor controllers, and motion control systems.
  • Work with breakers, contactors, and control panels to support system integration.
  • Participate in factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), and vessel commissioning.
  • Troubleshoot system issues under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Ensure designs comply with class, safety, and quality standards.
  • Ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in industrial automation or control engineering.
  • Basic experience with PLC programming and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with marine systems is an advantage.
