Role Purpose:
The Systems Analyst compiles technical specifications from specified business requirements The incumbent produces technical specifications in the form of documents that are in line with agreed upon standards

Are you someone who can:

• Advise on areas to be tested.
• Review and continuously improve testing knowledge and processes.
• Run tests according to technical specifications.
• Identify queries and issues and escalates to developers and testers for resolution.
• Work with the Database Administrator to establish table design.
• Write prescribed technical specifications.
• Produce high quality work by adhering to predefined standards and procedures and in accordance with compliance and governance standards.
• Work with enhanced processes and procedures to maintain operational efficiencies.
• Deliver work in an accurate manner to ensure consistent results.
• Draw on knowledge and experience to identify and develop solutions that leads to improved service delivery and quality.
• Adhere to quality standards, turnaround times and Company policies and procedures.
• Complete relevant administration, reporting and updating of information accurately and on time.
• Review business specifications and determines the correct technical solution.
• Investigate new ways to optimise processes.
• Flag opportunities to migrate to platform and supports the use of technology in process and system improvements.
• Draw on knowledge and experience to identify and develop solutions that lead to improved service delivery and quality.
• Contribute to cost efficiencies through responsible utilisation of work-related resources. Ensure cost saving efficiencies.
• Deliver customer service through adherence to quality service standards.
• Interact with internal customers according to defined service standards.
• Contribute to teamwork and inclusivity within own team.
• Identify and utilise opportunities to assess and improve own performance.

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• Have 2– 3 years’ experience in a systems analysis or similar role
• Business and systems requirements analysis
• End-to-end system delivery lifecycle (SDLC)
• System testing, validation and defect management
• Process optimisation and solution design
• Cross-functional stakeholder engagement

Technical Skills

• Requirements analysis and documentation (e.g. BRDs, user stories)
• Process mapping and modelling tools
• System and data analysis
