This is a hands-on engineering role with real operational ownership, project responsibility and close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.

- the workplace infrastructure services, including meeting rooms and event spaces based on Neat and related collaboration technology, as well as our managed print environment based on Canon and uniFLOW Online.
What you’ll do:
- Own the service and interact with key stakeholders to propose, plan and implement service evolution
- Troubleshoot complex WiFi, WAN, firewall, VPN, ZTNA, routing and network access issues from detection through root cause analysis and sustainable resolution.
- Maintain and improve secure network access using certificate-based authentication and 802.1X across our office locations.
- Take a key technical role in new office openings, office moves, refurbishments and expansions, including network infrastructure, structured cabling, ISP coordination, meeting rooms, event spaces and media technology.
- Define and maintain infrastructure standards, implementation blueprints, documentation, runbooks and operational procedures.
- Use AI and automation technology to simplify, standardize and automate recurring infrastructure tasks.
- Improve visibility into office infrastructure health through monitoring, alerting and proactive troubleshooting.
What you’ll bring:
- Hands-on experience as a Systems Engineer, Network Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer or in a similar role with responsibility for corporate, office or enterprise infrastructure.
- Strong practical knowledge of enterprise networking, especially WiFi, switching, routing, WAN connectivity, VLANs, DNS, DHCP and network segmentation.
- Experience maintaining and improving network infrastructure based on Cisco Meraki and Fortinet, or comparable enterprise networking and firewall platforms.
- Solid troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze WiFi, WAN, routing, firewall, VPN, ZTNA and network access issues in a structured and pragmatic way.
- A good understanding of network security, access control and authentication frameworks, especially 802.1X and certificate-based authentication.
- Experience with firewall and secure access concepts, including routing, IPSec tunnels, firewall policies, NAT, segmentation and site-to-site connectivity.
- Experience contributing to office infrastructure projects such as new office openings, relocations, refurbishments, structured cabling, ISP coordination, network room setup or meeting room rollouts.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A pragmatic ownership mindset: you care about reliable operations, clear documentation, sustainable fixes and continuous improvement.
- Willingness to travel across Europe when required and potentially to Canada
- You are based in, or willing to be based in, Munich.
- Fluency in English is required; German is a plus.
Nice to have:
- Hands-on experience with Fortinet ZTNA or other Zero Trust Network Access solutions.
- Familiarity with Cisco Meraki at scale.
- Experience with Neat devices
- Experience with Canon and uniFLOW Online
- Experience with monitoring, automation or infrastructure-as-code approaches for office or network infrastructure.
