SYSTEMS PROGRAMMER

KeyResponsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters (on-prem / cloud / hybrid).
• Develop, automate, and maintain cloud-native applications, platform services, and infrastructure components on OpenShift, leveraging containerization, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps practices to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient solutions.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and patch OpenShift components.
• Manage container platforms, namespaces, RBAC, networking, and storage.
• Support CI/CD integration with OpenShift (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Monitor cluster performance, capacity, and availability.
• Troubleshoot cluster, application, and infrastructure issues.
• Implement security best practices (image scanning, secrets, policies).
• Work closely with DevOps and application teams for container adoption.
• Automate platform operations using Ansible / Helm / Operators.
• Maintain documentation and operational runbooks.

Required Skills& Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift.
• Must have Red Hat certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, OpenShift certification).
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Experience with Linux system administration.
• Knowledge of OpenShift networking (SDN/OVN), routes, services, ingress.
• Experience with persistent storage (Ceph, NFS, cloud storage).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
