Job Description

Position Summary

The Talent Acquisition Business Unit Leader is responsible for developing and executing talent acquisition strategies that attract, engage, and hire top talent to meet organizational objectives for their designated business unit. This role partners with business leaders, drives workforce planning initiatives, and enhances employer branding efforts to ensure high-quality candidate experience and a strong talent pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition Strategy

  • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies aligned with business goals and workforce plans.
  • Partner with senior leadership to understand current and future hiring needs.
  • Create sourcing strategies to attract diverse, high-performing talent.
  • Monitor labor market trends and recommend recruitment innovations.

Recruitment Leadership

  • Establish recruiting metrics, service level agreements, and performance standards.
  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding support.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, HR partners, and hiring managers to forecast talent needs.
  • Provide guidance on hiring practices, compensation trends, and candidate market dynamics.
  • Influence workforce planning decisions through talent intelligence and data analytics.

Employer Brand & Candidate Experience

  • Strengthen the organization's employer brand through recruitment marketing and outreach initiatives.
  • Drive initiatives that improve candidate engagement and experience.
  • Represent the organization at networking events, industry conferences, and career fairs.

Data & Analytics

  • Analyze recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, offer acceptance rate, and sourcing effectiveness.
  • Develop reports and dashboards for executive leadership.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience.
  • 1+ year of leadership experience managing talent acquisition strategies
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting technologies, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and sourcing platforms.
  • Experience with workforce planning and talent analytics.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading recruiting efforts in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Knowledge of employment branding and recruitment marketing strategies.
