Job Description:
Purpose of Job:
Improves the overall health of the communities we serve by strategically performing full cycle recruiting of designated healthcare positions. Partners with hiring managers to collect and review hiring needs and executes targeted talent acquisition strategies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operates as strategic advisor to the business while serving as a subject matter expert on recruitment strategies.
- Owns and manage the entire recruiting cycle from requisition to on boarding.
- Champions the organization’s brand and promotes CHAS Health as an employer of choice to all candidates via the use of social media, recruitment advertising and job fairs.
- Builds trust and long-term relationships with hiring managers and coaches them on hiring best practices.
- Provides a stellar candidate experience and develops strong relationships with candidates.
- Attends networking events, professional conferences, and specialty/niche recruiting events to connect and source talent.
- Develops knowledge of current market place and trends to ensure competitive hiring.
- Develops a deep knowledge of the business lines and their competitive landscape.
- Works with peers and leadership to continuously improve our branding, recruiting processes, and candidate experience.
- Identifies and executes use of appropriate advertising and social media channels to attract talent.
- Utilizing behavioral interviewing techniques, screen and/or interview candidates and provide recommendations regarding applicant consideration and candidate selection to hiring managers.
- Performs other duties assigned, including supporting the CHAS Health Mission and Core Values.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred. Two years of experience in full cycle healthcare recruitment or similar required. PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
Skills: Computer skills required. Knowledge of legal requirements affecting human resources functions required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Excellent organization and follow-up skills required. Ability
to maintain a high level of confidentiality required. Ability to work under tight time constraints, handle high stress and
changing priorities required. Experience with human resource information systems and multiline phones
required. Valid drivers’ license, insurance and vehicle required. Commitment to supporting a safe and respectful environment is required.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to hear, use vision, stand, sit and be mobile. The employee will constantly use hands to finger, handle or feel. Communicating occurs constantly throughout the day. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
