Role purpose
This role is a 50/50 split between hands-on recruitment and day-to-day team leadership. You will personally manage a full lifecycle requisition load for Corporate Services and/or Technology roles while simultaneously leading, coaching, and holding a team of Corporate Services and Technology Talent Acquisition Managers accountable. The core mission is to raise the bar on delivery, drive operational excellence, and use first-hand market insights to build a sharper, more resilient recruiting function.
Key responsibilities
1. Hands-On Technology/Corporate Services Recruitment
- Manage the full recruitment cycle for a personal load of senior Corporate Services and/or Technology roles, from sourcing to onboarding.
- Maintain personal pipeline velocity and hiring metrics to the same standard required of the team.
2. Team Leadership & Executional Excellence
- Lead and coach a team of Tech and Corporate Services Talent Acquisition Managers to ensure consistent delivery against hiring targets.
- Run daily and weekly cadences including pipeline reviews, requisition prioritization, and blocker removal.
- Define clear performance expectations, monitor output, and address underperformance constructively.
- Step in to assist with difficult searches, stakeholder calls, and co-sourcing for hard-to-fill roles.
3. Team Capacity Building
- Deliver targeted coaching on sourcing, candidate engagement, objection handling, and stakeholder management.
- Plan team capacity and balance requisition allocation based on role complexity and recruiter strengths.
- Build cross-coverage frameworks to protect delivery against workload spikes or team attrition.
4. Market Reality & Insights
- Provide real-time market intelligence on tech talent availability, salary benchmarks, and competitor hiring patterns.
- Partner with hiring managers to align expectations around timelines, remote working, and tech stacks for faster decision-making.
What we are looking for
- 5+ years of TA experience with people leadership exposure in-house or in executive search.
- Proven track record of personally filling senior Technology and/or Corporate Services roles.
- Confident building relationships with Hiring Managers and challenging briefs using market data.
- Experience running team cadences like pipeline reviews, requisition prioritization, and performance tracking.
- Skilled at coaching recruiters, identifying skill gaps, and constructively managing underperformance.
- High standards for ATS data hygiene, interview rigor, candidate communication, and offer management.
- Hands-on approach, comfortable carrying personal tech requisitions while leading a team.
- Fluent English.
